About

I am Michelle Reugebrink, founder of Comprehensive Well‑Being LLC.

My life’s work is about helping people and organizations thrive—whether that means building resilience, creating visionary programs, or simply learning to pause and reconnect with what matters most.

For nearly four decades in federal service, I pioneered initiatives that transformed workplace culture and left lasting legacies. I have been a chief investigator in multiple fatality investigations, standing with people in their worst moments and helping them rise again. Those experiences shaped my deep commitment to resilience, compassion, and the belief that even in tragedy, we can find strength and healing.

I hold a unique blend of certifications that reflect both breadth and depth in wellbeing, coaching, and leadership:

• ICF‑MCC – Master Certified Coach, the highest credential from the International Coaching Federation

• NBC‑HWC – National Board‑Certified Health & Wellness Coach

• MBSR Teacher – Mindfulness‑Based Stress Reduction Teacher, trained at the University of Massachusetts Medical School

• EMCC EIA & ESIA – European Mentoring & Coaching Council Individual Accreditation (EIA) and Supervision Individual Accreditation (ESIA), recognizing excellence in coaching and supervision practice

• ACE‑CPT – Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise

• Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide – trained through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), guiding individuals and groups in reconnecting with nature for healing and resilience

These credentials reflect my commitment to caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

“We need to acknowledge the past—it is part of us. Coaching is about moving forward: greeting ourselves right where we are, picking ourselves back up, and showing up in the world as our best selves—with kindness.”

My journey

I have done the work on myself, and I continue to do it every day. From wildland firefighting and occupational safety to leadership roles at the top of Federal government and guiding teams through crisis and cultural transformation, my path has been about resilience, courage, and compassion.

I know what it means to be knocked down—and I know the power of choosing to stand back up. My philosophy is simple:

• Acknowledge the past—it is part of us.
• Meet yourself where you are, right now.
• Move forward through coaching.
• Care for the whole person—inside and out.
• Pick yourself back up.
• Show up as your best self.
• Lead with kindness.

My New Chapter

As founder of Comprehensive Well‑Being LLC, I bring together all of my modalities—coaching, mindfulness, nature and forest therapy, holistic stress management, and whole‑person wellness—into one integrated offering. This chapter is about supporting humanity, honoring family, and helping every person and organization thrive in whatever they most want to do.

I live in California with my husband, Robert, and we are proud parents to two sons—Preston, an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, married to Carly, who is a high school teacher; and Winston, a Project Engineer, whose girlfriend Casey is a cherished part of our family. Becoming “Oma” to our granddaughter Peyton has deepened my commitment to building a world where future generations can flourish.
